I understand what you mean about needing a different project. I just finished a sweater that I have been working on for a looooooonnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggg time. I had hit a point that I just couldn't stand knitting it anymore. Then someone suggested that I do something small and rewarding. I did - and when I picked up the sweater again, I whipped right through it!
